Izella the Writer

 So, I've made it out of my burnt out slump and have gotten back to writing a new story. Whoo! I'm going to keep it free and fun and just pants my way through this one. I find that with shorter stories, I have no problem not plotting. But if I know that my story is going to be 20k words or more, I definitely need to plot, even if it's just a mild skeleton of an outline. For this story, however, I am planning on it only being somewhere between 12k and 17k words. Hopefully, a lot closer to 12k, but I can be pretty long winded at times lol (that's what editing is for!). Anyway, this story is the fourth erotica story that I mentioned in my last post and it is titled The Art of Patience . It is a standalone, however, it ties into the world of the first story I wrote called The Art of Temptation . This story follows a briefly mentioned side character named Jasmine and her journey posing for an erotic photographer.  I'll be working on this project for the month of January...

Wow! 2024 has come and gone and I did not plan on being away from my blog for this long. 2024 was kind of a rough year all around, however, I got a good start to my writing and was able to crank out three novellas this year, woohoo! The reason I am so happy about that is because 2024 was just not going to plan. Not that I even had a lot of plans for the year, however, the ones I did have were not coming to fruition. But in the final third of the year, I was able to buckle down, find the fun again, and spit out three stories in a month. So, excuse me while I happy dance. Then unfortunately, because I worked my poor little brain so hard, I instantly experienced burnout and completely shut down lol. So, for the final two months of the year, I wrote a total of 0 words. It's my own fault really for getting started on my writing goals so late in the year.
