Story #6 is complete ✨

Hello again. I'm gonna keep this brief because it's 10:30pm on a Tuesday and I am sleepy. Buuuuttt, I finished story number 6, whoot whoot! The funny thing is, this wasn't even the story that I was planning on working on. I didn't even have any brainstorms or plotting for this story, but my brain had other plans apparently. I was working on a different story completely when this one just came spilling out of me. It is novelette length, currently sitting at 13,129 words, and I finished writing it in six days as well as completed the first round of edits on it. I don't know why my brain wanted to spit this story out. It's something that I have never written before, however, it truly made me extend myself in a way I haven't before when it comes to my writing. Whenever I choose to publish, I hope people like it. No one has to like it, really. But it would be nice if people did. I have an audience in mind and from what I can see other people speak about online, ...

Copyright update & another story complete!

Happy Summer everyone! 🌸 I don't now what the weather is like where you all live, but Summer has come with a vengeance here in the midwest U.S. and it is sooo hot here. Anyway, this is just going to be a brief update. In my last post, I mentioned feeling overwhelmed at not knowing how to go about copyrighting my work. I have decided that since I have multiple stories written already, I am going to register them as a group of unpublished works first, then release them into the wild on self-publishing platforms. I've learned that if I copyright a group of unpublished works, I can do so for up to 10 literary works. So, since I have already written multiple books, I chose that option. Doing this should not impact the copyright validity if I publish my works at a later date. I would have come back with an update about this sooner, but when I was actually going to submit the form and payment for copyright, I found out that the price for copyrighting a group of works has increased an...
